About

A house for every question

בית לכל שאלה

Beit Ha'Vaad is a modern digital house of Jewish learning — built so that people can ask sincere questions safely, learn from participating teachers, and read arguments the way they were actually made: with sources, with disagreements, and without pretending either away.

What this is — and isn't

Beit Ha'Vaad is an infrastructure project: a place where existing Jewish communities and their independent religious authorities can make their knowledge accessible. The founder is responsible for the infrastructure — not for determining religious doctrine.

This is not a new Jewish denomination, not the Sanhedrin, not a religious court, and not a conversion authority. It does not issue binding halachic rulings. It supports existing communities without replacing them.

The platform welcomes Jewish learners, prospective converts, members of different movements, interested non-Jews, and scholars from relevant disciplines. Interfaith guests may contribute to appropriately designated discussions, but do not acquire Jewish religious authority through participation.

Principles

Understanding first

הבנה תחילה

Before any disagreement, we try to understand a position in its strongest, most accurate form — not the version that is easiest to dismiss.

Disagreement, preserved

מחלוקת נשמרת

Many disputes are legitimate and ancient. We do not pretend they do not exist, and we do not flatten them into a single answer.

Evidence throughout

ראיות לאורך הדרך

Every claim links back to its source. We distinguish what is established, what is traditional, what is disputed, and what is still a hypothesis.

Private by default

פרטי כברירת מחדל

Faith, conversion and family questions are sensitive. Everything you ask is private until you explicitly choose to share it.

The line we hold

Questions without fear. Disagreements without division.

Understanding first. Disagreement second. Evidence throughout.

עם אחד. קולות רבים. שאלות לאין סוף.
