Privacy
Private by default
פרטיות
Faith, conversion and family questions are sensitive. This summarizes the design intent; the full policy is wired as sensitive features are connected and reviewed.
Three visibility levels
PRIVATE
Visible only to you and the platform services required to process it. This is the default for every new personal question.
SCHOLAR_SHARED
Shared only with a specifically selected, consenting scholar — never silently.
PUBLIC
Separately reviewed and explicitly approved. Publication creates a redacted snapshot rather than exposing the private source record.
Beit Ha'Vaad does not silently change a private record into a public one. Public publication requires separate student and scholar consent and creates a separate redacted snapshot. Anonymous publication is offered, but anonymity does not eliminate identification risks from a question's content.
What we do not do
Private question bodies are never placed in routine marketing automations, tracking pixels, analytics tools or sales CRM fields. No private question IDs, previews or graph relationships are exposed publicly. A frontend toggle that says "private" is not, by itself, a security measure.
Your controls
Access revocation, export and deletion workflows, retention controls and security audit trails are specified and connect as Cloud is enabled and the protected services are reviewed.
