The Council of 71
A future assembly, built slowly
מועצת הע״א
A proposed voluntary scholarly assembly inspired by the historical association of the Sanhedrin with 71 members. It is not the Sanhedrin and claims no universal halachic authority. Council membership develops gradually, through participating communities that choose to take part.
