What Beit Ha'Vaad is

A platform for Jewish learning and scholarly discussion. Not a denomination, the Sanhedrin, a religious court, or a conversion authority. It does not issue binding halachic rulings.

Appropriate use

• Ask sincere questions in good faith. Harassment, impersonation, threats and disclosure of private correspondence are not permitted.
• Attribute sources accurately. Do not fabricate citations or claim a scholar's endorsement without explicit authorization.
• Separate community helpfulness from religious authority. A vote is not a ruling.
• Respect the privacy of others' questions and correspondence.

Donations & support

Voluntary support to verified recipients is subject to payment-provider onboarding, disclosures and financial compliance. No donation may purchase religious authority, favorable scholarly review, conversion acceptance, or priority over urgent pastoral needs. No payment details are stored in ordinary CRM custom fields.

AI & sources

The AI study assistant distinguishes established information, documented interpretation, scholarly disputes, personal hypotheses and unverified claims. It does not fabricate citations, does not impersonate rabbis, and does not issue binding halachic rulings. Unreviewed AI translations are clearly marked until validated by a qualified reviewer.
